Does anyone have suggestions on how to imitate infrared footage on S8? By "infrared footage" I mean the shots you see on news broadcasts, usually a correspondant reporting at night from a war zone. The two characteristics seem to be a greenish cast and lots of grain. Could it be as simple as a green filter and high speed film?

If you're trying to achieve the very same infrared war footage we're all used to, then shoot it on video. Because in reality - that's what it is. If that's what you're trying to duplicate.

Unless I misunderstood exactly what it is you're asking. I don't see why you'd want to shoot it on film.
